Biography
Bruce Fortenbaugh is a director in the litigation consulting practice of LECG. He has a BS in business administration from the University of Richmond. Prior to his current position with LECG, Mr. Fortenbaugh spent 12 years at various consulting firms including LECG, Resolution Economics, and Navigant Consulting. Previously, Mr. Fortenbaugh was with the State Corporation Commission–Bureau of Insurance in Richmond, Virginia.
Mr. Fortenbaugh provides consulting services and expert witness testimony related to a variety of practice areas. He has provided expert testimony in federal and state court as well as arbitration and mediation settings. He specializes in estimating damages, evaluating business issues and business operations, designing and conducting observation studies and surveys related to work activities, assessing economic and statistical approaches to litigation issues, and performing forensic programming and analysis of large complex databases. Mr. Fortenbaugh also has significant experience in analyzing complex data for the purpose of assisting counsel in evaluating class certification, liability and developing damages estimates for alternative dispute resolution forums such mediation, settlement conferences, and arbitration.
