Biography
Christopher Aitken is the executive vice president and head of corporate development, based in Emeryville. Mr. Aitken has more than ten years of experience addressing corporate and business unit strategy issues with a particular focus on customer profitability and retention, product/service portfolio optimization, and market entry strategy. He also has extensive experience advising senior management teams on customer relationship management and eBusiness issues, and business process improvements. His clients have ranged from Fortune 500 to start-up organizations in the professional services, financial services, high technology, and pharmaceutical sectors.
Prior to joining LECG, Mr. Aitken held partner-level roles at Andersen and BearingPoint, (formerly known as KPMG Consulting), where he led each firm’s strategy consulting practice in the United States. Before Andersen, he was an associate lecturer in the School of Information Systems at the University of New South Wales (Sydney, Australia). Mr. Aitken holds a bachelor of commerce (Honors) in information systems and finance from the University of New South Wales where he graduated summa cum laude with first class honors and was awarded the university medal.
