Biography
John M. Connor is a director in LECG's global antitrust policy practice and a professor at Purdue University.
Professor Connor is the author of a dozen books and monographs and of hundreds of other scholarly publications. His major research interests include empirical studies of industrial organization, especially cartels, and antitrust enforcement. He teaches graduate courses in food marketing, price analysis, and industrial economics. He also actively consults with law firms and regulatory agencies on antitrust matters.
Professor Connor received, often with others, the American Agricultural Economics Association's Distinguished Policy Contribution Award, the Quality of Communication Award (twice), and the Distinguished Extension Program Award. In 2002, the AAEA’s Quality of Communication Award was granted for his book Global Price Fixing. This book was also awarded the Cohen Award for the best antitrust publication of 2003. A second edition was in late 2006 and a paperback edition in May 2008.
