Biography

Malcolm is an LECG affiliate specialising in financial services. Prior to LECG Malcolm was group chief executive of the Liverpool Victoria Group, a retail financial services group with an annual turnover of about £750 million, 2,000 employees, and assets of over £7.4 billion. The group included a personal lines general insurance company who won ‘Car Insurer of the Year 2005’ and were second in the ‘Home Insurer of the Year 2005’ category as awarded by readers of the Guardian and Observer newspapers.

Malcolm has been responsible for acquisitions and disposals in the last fifteen years in his roles as group chief executive, managing director, and chief financial officer at Liverpool Victoria and Crown Financial Management (a life and pensions company with assets of £1 billion).

Malcolm qualified as an actuary in 1983 and has been appointed actuary at all his three companies.
