Biography
Michael A Mancusi is a managing director in the Washington DC office of LECG. Prior to its acquisition by LECG, Mr. Mancusi was a co-founder and managing director of the Secura Group, a consulting firm for leading financial institutions. Mr. Mancusi consults with domestic and foreign financial services companies on a wide variety of issues including risk management, the credit management process, regulatory compliance, and management and organizational issues. He has served as an expert in numerous legal and regulatory proceedings involving the credit process, risk identification, and regulatory issues. Mr. Mancusi is a frequent speaker on programs concerning the financial services industry and has testified before congressional committees on issues affecting financial institutions.
Prior to helping found Secura in 1986, Mr. Mancusi spent 18 years with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency as an examiner and senior policy maker. During that tenure, he served as senior deputy comptroller for national operations with responsibility for all field operations. He was a member of the comptroller's policy group, the OCC's senior management committee.
Mr. Mancusi is a graduate of St. Francis College in Loretto, Pennsylvania.
