Financial Services

LECG experts provide banking advisory services to leading financial services firms world wide. We address regulatory compliance, tax, dispute resolution, and provide representation before applicable regulatory authorities.

The Secura Group is now LECG financial services. LECG has recently formalized the integration of its acquisition of the Secura Group by expanding its financial services practice. The practice will be divided into five service lines including regulatory compliance, retail securities litigation and arbitration, governance and risk management, credit and financial products, and litigation support services. This expansion integrates Secura's well established regulatory consulting practice with LECG's existing litigation support and expert services practice.

Our clients include domestic and foreign banks, thrifts, non-bank financial companies, mortgage companies, insurance companies, and investment banks. Our clients range from global institutions to small community banks. The institutions we work with are regulated by the OCC, Federal Reserve, FDIC, OTS, state banking departments, the SEC, HUD, and NASD.

We also partner with LECG experts of other disciplines to provide comprehensive services to our financial services clients including real estate, employment, benefits, tax, securities, and intellectual property and techology services.

Technology is a significant component of all financial services companies. Successful companies understand that technology services must support and complement the revenue generating business segments. The implementation of technology solutions brings with it unique risks that have to be effectively managed. LECG experts have experience in technology policiesĀ and procedures, information technology risk assessment, business process analysis, internalĀ IT audit co-sourcing and outsourcing, business continuity planning, and network security vulnerability analysis.
