Biography
Skip Westfall is a principal in the legal technology and analytic consulting services practice for LECG. He is based in Houston and brings more than 14 years of consulting, electronic discovery, and computer forensics expertise to the firm. LECG’s LTAC practice provides a full suite of services from strategic planning to document evidence preservation and collection and computer forensics to document review and production. The practice also provides electronic records management to corporate counsel to provide a practical and scalable solution for managing electronic business records. Mr. Westfall specializes in providing strategic advice to counsel on matters related to complex electronic discovery issues and managing large end-to-end discovery matters. Mr. Westfall has also assisted in corporate information technology investigations including audits, security breaches, and fraud.
Mr. Westfall was formerly the director of client advisory services for RenewData, Inc., a major US provider of electronic discovery technology and services. In this capacity, he oversaw client facing activities of the company including sales engineering and engagement management. Mr. Westfall was director of litigation support for Locke Liddell & Sapp LLP (now known as Locke Lord Bissell and Liddell). While building a litigation support practice, Mr. Westfall managed several large litigation matters from engagement to trial.
