Our Story
LegalEng Consulting Group was founded in 2023 by a team of legal engineering and legal operations practitioners with years of hands-on experience building legal functions, designing contracting processes, deploying technology, and leading teams through transformation.
We started LECG because we saw a gap: most consulting firms offer frameworks and recommendations, but few can roll up their sleeves and execute alongside you. We can. We've held the roles, made the calls, and felt the friction that comes with running a modern legal department.
Today, LECG is a team of seasoned legal engineers, former lawyers, and legal operations leaders. We work across the full spectrum of legal operations: strategy, process design, technology implementation, and ongoing managed services. Whether you're standing up a legal ops function for the first time or optimizing one that's already running, we bring the same depth of experience to every engagement.

Mary O’Carroll
CEO
Mary is a globally recognized legal industry executive and innovator with leadership roles spanning Google, Ironclad, and Goodwin, where she has spent her career transforming how legal organizations operate, adopt technology, and deliver services.
A pioneer of legal operations as former president of CLOC, she also hosts the legal innovation podcast Pearls On, Gloves Off.
Antonio Perez
President
& Co-Founder
Prior to co-founding LECG, Antonio was an original member of Ironclad's Legal Engineering team from 2018 to 2023, where he implemented on behalf of strategic customers and helped develop its implementation processes.
Before Ironclad, he practiced law specializing in secured lending for commercial aircraft and mezzanine financing. He holds a J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis.
Chris Chin
General Counsel & Co-Founder
Chris started his career as a technology transactions attorney in Silicon Valley Legal Departments, including Oracle, Netscape, and Ariba.
He joined Google as its fourth lawyer and one of its first 400 employees in 2002, and held positions as both the Head of Commercial Legal and the Head of Legal Transformation before joining Ironclad in early 2021 to lead its Professional Services Team.
Cambrie Marks
SVP Technical Services & Co-Founder
Cambrie has over 15 years of experience in consulting and software implementations. She was a member of the original Legal Engineering team at Ironclad.
She specializes in CLM implementation, long-term CLM strategy, and product ownership for enterprise clients.
Andy Yu
SVP Technical Services & Co-Founder
Andy spent 4 years leading Ironclad’s founding Legal Engineering team, where he designed and implemented best-in-class Ironclad instances for mid-market and enterprise companies.
He brings deep expertise in sales-driven workflows, Salesforce and custom integrations, and building scalable, high-impact contract operations.
Lyndsey Cain
VP Legal Operations Services
Lyndsey spent nearly a decade at The New York Times Company, most notably as its first Head of Legal Operations, where she built and scaled the legal operations function over 5 years before joining LECG in 2024.
She brings deep experience in complex, large-scale contract and project management experience from global organizations and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
Erin Till
VP Operations
Erin has spent her career scaling early-stage businesses across hospitality and tech, including at Ironclad where she managed business operations and led company-wide strategic initiatives for 3 years.
At LECG, she oversees finance, security, people, and the operational infrastructure behind every client engagement.
